Safer than the alternative?

       Well; given the choice would rather shoot Bridges OR shoot Rapids?  I can't swear to it, but think I may have a shot of every Bridge we passed.
       I'm not 100% sure the attraction.  Is it that I can shoot from the centre of the wet, or just that Canal Bridges are, historically/picturesquely different from River/Road/Railway Bridges?
