the other side of the river

Bitty kind of day with packing to do and a couple of things I wanted to Get Done before we go away for our epic four-day voyage to Madrid. Funny how packing takes exactly the same amount of time whether it's for a month, a week or even a weekend.
Lovely walk this afternoon, where - embracing change & spontaneity - I photographed the railway bridge from the other side of the river. Weekly call with Auntie T & cousin C completed. Packing finished. Garden watered. Seedlings put into sheltered place. This evening turns out, unfortunately, to be my turn to cook.
