More of the same (Day 3639)

Sunday started the usual way with an early wander up the hill with Sigyn, then a trip to town to do the weekly shop, timed to arrive just as the shops opened for the day. Thankfully it wasn't too peopley today. As I wandered round Tesco, my sciatica made a very unwelcome reappearance. By the time I was done it had reached "brutally sore". Thankfully it eased off a bit once I was back home.
At home, after unloadingthe shopping I did a few chores, then headed to Stromness to sort out a little problem with the quad bike. When I tried to use it yesterday I found the throttle was jammed wide open, which made it a bit tricky to use. I think it is behaving itself now, after a fairly stern talking to.
Back home for lunch then off to Lyde with Sigyn. Despite the forecast of rain, it looked clear across towards Stromness, so after dropping Sigyn off at home, I headed back to the horses and gott out for a ride on George.
He was great fun again today, and even though drizzle accompanied us from the half way point back to the field, it was a great ride.
Perhaps two rides over the weekend wasn't the best idea as my muscles will be complaining tomorrow when I am supposed to be starting a bathroom refit.
It seems that my beautiful wife has had a good day south. Sigyn and I are looking forward to having her back tomorrow.
