Sunny Sunday

A beautiful day, popped down to the one of the local garden centres to pick up a couple things I had forgotten the other day. Back home and out into the garden.

Achieved quite a lot today. At long last got a couple of new hellebores in the ground, along with the daffs I bought weeks back. Continued to carry on with the weeding. The worst weed is quite attractive, the creeping wood sorrel, but it is pain to get rid of. After lunch out with the lawn mower, and cut both lawns and did the edging. 

As I had  gone inside to get a drink, looked out of the kitchen window and spotted a hen blackbird with a youngster who wanted feeding. Grabbed my phone , and quickly took images through the kitchen window. Not the best quality, but they had to be todays blip :-)             

Sue popped in for a cup of tea on her way home, so we caught up on our day. A lot achieved today, and the weather looking good for the week.
