The Screamer

Our Red Kites have bred successfully over the past few years.  We now have 2 breeding pairs plus a couple of last year's youngsters in the garden.  They all have distict personalities.  This is one of last year's fledglings and we call him/her "The Screamer".  Although it is perfectly capable of fending for itself, if it spots one of the adults with some food, it flies after them screaming.  If I spoke "Kite" I'm sure I would find that it's saying "Give it to me!  I want some!".
