Wild Garlic, Piggot's Bottom
Mist conditions first thing. I headed for a small wildlife trust site near Longdon that I had always' thought was called George's Hayes, but new information boards confirmed that the area I was photographing was actually called Piggot's Bottom. It was carpeted in wild garlic with various tracks made by animals criss crossing the valley. Further on bluebells had established themselves (see extra).
I bumped into a gentleman called Phil as I was leaving, who'd come down to collect a couple of the wild garlic plants. We got into conversation, only to realise after a long chat that we are both on Blipfoto. He'd even started before me, though his journal is much sparser. Anyway, we had a lovely discussion and shared each others' contact details. As you might imagine I encouraged him to update his journal and even get his wife to join
Later we headed back to L's mom's house so I could cut the lawns and generally tidy the garden, while L made further in roads on the bedrooms, as we want to get photographs taken for the estate agent.
We came home mid afternoon for gin 'o' clock in the garden. Looks like we're going to have some lovely weather over the next few days..
