Getting Rid Of Rubbish

We scarcely see a starling in the garden yet they are raising a brood in our bathroom ventilator. We'll have to get a new flap for it when the breeding season is over!

I was walking around the garden with the macro lens on looking for flowers to blip when I heard multiple chirps coming from the ventilator. From in the bathroom we had only heard one bird when it came to roost ages ago. As I was watching the bird flew out so I went and put the 100 - 400mm on.

I got a seat and made myself comfortable until there was some more action. I didn't have to wait long to catch it bringing out a faecal sac from the nest.

We were planning to go to the tip with garden rubbish today but we found other jobs to do instead.
