A few of the papers!
I got to work, or rather play ;⁰) with my artist mark-making tools (hand made, see previous blip) this afternoon. The concept is to create your own marks on papers that you can use as collage elements. This is a wonderful idea that allows you to put yourself into your art. It was so much fun to do as well! The instructor Francisca Nunes suggested to just have fun randomly making marks. I probably went a bit overboard, but restraint was not a goal here! I've saved the watered down inks I used and may try to create some more simple papers in the future.
I will also be using these papers in a collage that I will do in my Wanderlust Art Journal, to keep a record of this lesson for the course... I will share it in due time. I also did create an album of my process where you can see more of the papers, I hope you enjoy.
