Sunday day out

Sky and I left the house at 8.30 this morning and we went first for a coffee then took the small ferry to Mountbatten to see my friend Kim’s studio. She held Sky while I took the picture. She and her mother paint and in the past painted on the same picture. Nobody knew who did what. From there we walked along the South West Coasf Path to Jennycliff. I had forgotten that there was a beach there but he hadn’t! One minute he was with me then he took off! Down I went to the beach and we played down there for a while we lost one ball to the water but he brought the other back eventually! Quick pit stop for a cheese scone at the jennycliff cafe! A very delicious cheese scone with a pot of tea overlooking the view in the extra! Walked back to Mountbatten to pick up the ferry back and eventually got home at 2.30. Tired opus an understatement so I sat with a hot water and my iPad to check emails. The realised I needs to do the washing up! Just finished it as Amber arrived back from her hen party. Was very glad to get a lift home before going to church to do the reading and the refreshments. 1 Peter 1 1-12 is a great reading and we are just starting a series on living life with a living hope. Stay well all and sleep well!
