Walking beside a different river

Now I’m home, and the river is brown instead of blue and turquoise. But still plenty of beauty to be seen. The hawthorn blossom opened out while I was away, and I’m enjoying the scent as well as the sight of it.  And the weather is similar to the south of France today.  
I’m walking along the riverside pathway with a purpose, to get to the station to collect some tickets - heading off to see a friend for the day, later this week. Otherwise I had a fairly leisurely day.  And I haven’t caught up with everyone’s journals yet, though I’ve made a good start.
Ps if you have time, this definitely looks better if you click on the arrows just to the right of the stars and heart symbols.  Sometimes blips lose clarity when posted….
