litl hikes

By litl

The weather forecast was cloudy and dry so I headed out at about 9 o’clock for a local walk. Some might recognise the barn from previous blips. There’s a lot more of the fellside hidden by cloud.

The route took me steeply up Kirkstone Road to Roundhill Farm. Wild garlic, bluebells and stitchwort lined the farm road, then nearer the farm was the unpleasant smell of slurry. I passed by quickly and tried not to breathe in! The path then zigzags down to the beck, across the wooden footbridge and up to the road that descends past Stock Ghyll Wood.

I’ve put two mono extras in for anyone who’s interested.
