Our joined-up ten test tube marathon runners finished in 5 hrs 41 mins, setting a new Guinness book world record, even though they didn't get their test tube costume until Thursday and only had a three mile practice run. One runner was a replacement, after the lovely Fran, who lives up the road, had to have her appendix out last Monday. Six men and four women. They have raised over £107,000 for pancreatic cancer.
MK this morning and I managed to spend quite a bit of money on clothes and books. I've also put in an order or two online this afternoon.
This afternoon I've moved a few things around in the garden that were definitely not enjoying being close to the house in the heat and been reading Bad Actors by Mick Herron, the latest of the Slow Horses books.
I had a couple of very tiny spiders crawling along my hand, one smaller than this one, which is a baby crab spider. They do tickle a bit.
