Plants in transit

On the journey northwards we called in at Munro's nursery and spent my birthday money (and more!) on plants. So difficult to choose! Very hard to resist too!

The garden is looking a bit weary where plants are long past their best. I've cut them back, divided them, fed them, but some just needed to be composted and replaced. It was great fun, we did well and Mike chose some alpines for the shed roof too.

We have a few more days till we get home so most of the plants were packed into the shower. At least they will be easy to water there!

We have stayed on the Dornoch site a few times before and it's definitely Lottie's favourite. As soon as we'd parked up, she was keen to get onto the beach. It's so safe, she can be off her lead and just run, flat out, through the sand dunes and gorse bushes, doubling back every few minutes to check where I am! She loves it! It's a fair way to the sand and the sea, but well worth it - see extra. I think I'll call it Sand Sneezing!
