Bugle weed or not?

Google search tells me that this is a Bugle (Ajuga Reptans). It also says it's a weed but I've been weeding all around a large patch of it because the bees love it. 
A friend on the other side of the village, (who has a superb garden which she opens to the public for 3 days in June under the NGS) has put some plants behind her gate post for me, but Ziggy decided it was too far to walk to this evening in the heat. It was still 20 degrees at 6:30 pm. 
This morning after my class there was the monthly coffee and cake event at the old cricket pavilion and it was very pleasant to sit in the sunshine for a while. 
Clive knew me today when I visited, and tried to get his hand up to his face to blow me a kiss when I left. I stood outside his room and cried before I could face going back downstairs and seeing anyone.
