Cruising

I went on a cruise today! Around Loch Lomond (the southern part of it, at least). It is the largest loch in Scotland (by surface area) https://www.loch-lomond-waterfront.co.uk/blog/loch-lomond-facts/

At breakfast, I discovered that the couple at the next table were from the same part of the world as D. In fact, their two sons had been taught by D’s mum at primary school 40 years ago. It’s a small, small world.

I tested out my feet with a walk in Balloch Country Park - full of beautiful mature trees and a walled garden.

Then a rail journey from Balloch to Glasgow Queen Street and a very fast walk to the bus station, where I caught the Dumfries bus with a minute to spare. D and the dogs were all pleased to see me.
