A natural Nat in her faved habitat

Did 2 more county swims in the challenge of the year (ie swimming in open water in every county).

4 of us left early and headed in the direction of Nottinghamshire. Swam at Whole Health Lake which was absolutely wonderful. Temps in the 14’s. Felt good. Needed some tea and a bacon roll after, mind. I think I stayed in too long, due to the sheer beauty of it. It took me longer than normal to warm up.

Then headed into Derbyshire and swam at the Hathersage Lido - heated and very crowded but great to get a second swim in today, and cross off 2 more counties. Tea and cake before heading back, and a cheeky McD on the way.

A 340 mile road trip. All driven by Emma. And back in good time.
