Beach

It was very sunny but there was quite a cold wind. There were only a few people on the beach, but no one in the sea.

The view here was taken from a well placed bench. Due to my illness I can only walk for around 10 minutes before having to sit down. I really want to walk the length of the beach and back, as I used to. I was hoping for some effective treatment after my biopsy on April 30th, but the hospital have postponed that biopsy due to ‘other patients with greater needs’.

I was in the GP surgery waiting room when I met a lady from a book group I used to attend. She was there for a Covid injection but had arrived much too early and was looking for distractions. We exchanged a few words but then she turned round, right away from me and said ‘I wonder if there’s anyone else here I know’. I found that quite offensive!
