Black Tulips No 4501

Flowers are proving very useful at the moment in providing a blip and recording the flowers in our garden in our last spring here. These black tulips are particularly striking.

Thank you so much for all the stars, hearts and wonderful comments marking my 4500 blip milestone. You said some lovely words and I’ve tried to reply to every who awarded a heart, if not I’ll get round to it.

A score or more of little things became larger than the sum of their parts as we completed more of the admin needed to appoint the agent, submit identity checks and arrange appointments for photographs and floor plans for the two properties.

There were lots of little finishing off jobs at Doreen’s including yet another trip to the tip with garden rubbish (in horrid traffic) as the gardeners continued to work their magic on the neglected grass, borders and shrubs.

We’re almost there with Doreen’s house, only the last hoovering and final clean of the kitchen, bathroom and cloakroom. Then we can shut the door on it for now. Oh, and another trip or two to the tip will be needed.

The remainder of the week is earmarked for collating together all the stuff needed for the flat, continuing declutter our place and a visit to the allotment.
