Photography Exhibition.

Spent most of the morning sat on the patio, reading and sipping coffee.

This afternoon I helped carolbutterfly and chantler63 along with other members of the camera club hang photos for our club exhibition. Mine is top left on this wall. An old picture I had laying round already mounted!

I don’t think they (carol and Kathy) will have had a more eventful journey home than I did. I got to just outside my village, the road was blocked by a police car. Ok, I’ll go on the bypass and approach from the other end. Got to within yards of home, road blocked. I could see a house on fire, the silhouette of a firefighter on the eves on the front of the house, only there was no roof, just some burnt out rafters. Looked horrific. So I turned round and came the back way. The traffic was horrendous.

Luckily there was no one hurt. The back of the house is blackened from the back ground floor windows, right up to the roof. Apparently the neighbours in the adjoining semi are away. Both houses have extensive damage. Dreadful to see.
