Up at ridiculous o'clock to head to Birmingham for most of the week.

No problems with the trains, so that was a blessed relief.

Worked from our Birmingham office at Fort Dunlop. It is an impressive building with so much history, but I hadn't realised it is actually on the flight path for Birmingham airport. When we were on the roof some of the planes were flying in low.

A couple of frustrating meetings.

Good conversations with my young padawan.

An evening out in Birmingham and we went for a Chinese meal in the evening. It was very filling.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  A pleasant train journey
2.  Good conversations with my young padawan
3.  A good Chinese meal
