Rhubarb, rhubarb, rhubarb

It felt so good to be chopping and cooking again today. It may only be stewing some rhubarb, but the fresh smell, the rhythmical noise of stirring a pan on the hob, was all very satisfying.

On to the next thing, today I was planning a shopping delivery, sorting birthday presents and making kimchi. The kids are preparing a meal each for our trip. The boy is stopping at his grandparents' en route. He confirmed his meal and is making extra to leave some with his grandparents. How sweet, you might think. They are making Korean chicken's feet pie. Oh, how I would love to be a fly on the wall!
