Wine and wags....

Not necessarily in that order :-)  Lola was desperately keen to snuggle on the sofa between Agnes and Adrian.  She really does think she's a lap dog. 

A relaxed day catching up with some chores and looking forward to Agnes and Adrian arriving.  I didn't even have to worry about making dinner as Agnes was bringing two of her homemade pizzas.  They are the best!

They arrived just after 6.30pm and we had a lovely evening.  The pizzas were delicious.  I made a tasty salad to have with them and oven baked rice pudding for dessert.  I think that's only the second time I've made proper rice pudding and it was so good.  A staple of my childhood, my gran made it at least once a month.  It brought back a lot of memories.

After dinner an evening of chat and laughter and we were all surprised to realise it was after midnight and we were still awake!  That said, we were all in bed a short time later :-)
