Mono Monday: Week 588 ...

... motion.

You could have knocked me over with a feather when this lovely song sparrow landed on the fence not more than 10 feet from me.  I don't often get the opportunity to photograph these beauties ... especially this close up.

Not much 'motion' in this shot but I'm still posting to Mono Monday as I've taken the time to convert to mono.  The color version can be seen on Facebook.   Thanks to ApollyFly (and Steveng) for hosting Mono Monday this month.  

In other news:  After lunch we got out for our walk at the Little Lehigh Fish Hatchery.  Not much to see in the way of birds but it was a lovely day for a walk.  Afterwards we stopped at Costco for some essentials before heading home.
