Walkabout

Mum & I had a walk around the village, up the back lane to the top of Teign View, had a nose at the allotments from the wall. Walking back we stopped & spoke to Brenda Bervoets, next along the council houses working in the garden was Brian Baker. Get caught by Brian & you'll never get away.. :-))) And there tucked inside the door of her summerhouse was Michelle Bellamy. 3 life long Chudleigh Knighton residents. It was lovely to have a chat, even lovelier for Mum. We walked back down the hill, sat in the bus shelter for 10 minutes, resting Mum's legs while enjoying the glorious sunshine. Made our way along to the village hall, passing the rubble that remains of the Anchor Inn where we had lived for 30 years, dropped off the milk bottle tops then home. Some lovely plants in the gardens, including this pretty little tulip.
We sat with our coffee in the sun, then made Mum's lunch.

Sent of payment for my repaired camera. I should get it on Wednesday.
Made apt with care home in BT to chat about respite care.
Made apt with current care provider to discuss care plan to cover while I'm away.
Rang Kevin to arrange a couple of gardening jobs at Mum's.
Made eye test apts for hubby & myself.
Dropped hubby up the pub.
Mowed the lawn & weeded the front border.
Cider o'clock...
