Day out

Looking for a suggested picnic place, I came across River Hamble Country Park near Southampton (about an hour from where O lives).  It also has a children’s farm and play area there.  I arranged to meet Bex there with Arayla and we arrived within minutes of each other.

Lots of goats, sheep, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits and alpacas.  Large play areas too which was more interesting to O ;-D. The farm also had a couple of cottages you could look round. One set in the 1940s style and one Victorian.  The whole setting felt very clean, tidy and fresh.  When they had enough we visited another part of the country park for more play, picnic and ice cream time.  Then it was time to head home.

Both boys slept on the journey back but, boy, did they wake with the grumps especially O.  I made a quick exit.
