Piccadilly Circus tube station

Kunst am Bau.
I had to go to St. James' Square but apparently Green Park tube station had "no step-free access". I could not find out if that simply meant no lifts or was there no escalator there? Online help was all automatic replies. So I went to Piccadilly Circus. I am not sure about this Frank Pick work - more in extras. Does it mean, for example, that goodness is less important than righteousness? 
I went out to the north side of Piccadilly. What I saw there I will reveal in the next entry - I can't follow this one-entry-a-day system.
