Wild Poppies!

Growing in my garden!  Trouble is I have tried to grow poppies numerous times infact I have got pots full of seeds growing now but I never have any lick getting poppy flowers.....!!!!! AND then they start growing wild in places that I have not planted them!!! Are they just teasing me!
