Welsh poppy

I’ve no idea why these appear. When I first moved here, it was all mint in that bed. My mint is now under control, and put to good use with fresh beans and lamb. But I now have the pleasure of these yellow beauties.

Extra - for some reason Suki is taking an interest in Canadian politics……
