What a gorgeous day today.  I was out early before the patio guys arrived and went to Bassenthwaite.  Tess had so much fun in the water.  She was besotted with the ducks and geese in the water and kept trying to chase them.  She didn't get far as will only paddle.  I have a feeling in due course she just may swim!  Two more in extras.

Back home to find that nothing is ever straight forward!  Having had the drains at the back of the house sorted a while ago there are now issues with the pipe further along. To cut a long boring story short, because the pipe goes under the extension they need to relay it around the side of the house, so a trench has been dug and new pipe etc purchased.  Phew!  

Forgot to say in yesterday's blip that my neighbour's dog Ellie who I've blipped a few times got bitten by an Adder at Glasson Moss.  She's ok I believe and had to spend overnight at the vets.  My neighbours collected her this evening.  So looks like no walks at Glasson Moss for me and Tess for a few months which is a real shame as I love walking there.
