I’m pleased to say that our electricity came back at about 1am this morning. Too late for street parties like in Madrid but there was a party atmosphere earlier in the evening, with everyone out on their balconies with candles.
The weather was a mixture of sunshine and cloud today, so Mr P and I decided to get a bit of culture. I love this place. It’s a former Carmelite Convent which is now several museums and galleries rolled into one.
Mr P particularly enjoyed the abstract exhibition (not really my cup of tea) so much so that we’ll have to go back to visit most of the rest!
After all yesterday’s drama, we had a relaxing afternoon and evening.
