Off the Leash

On board Superfast VIII (generous supplies of coffee, but no-one has a second cup, whatever it is, coffee it isn't).


Two weeks exploring the southern/western part of Ireland in prospect. New territory for us, so I'm hoping to keep a record of the trip. We got down to the bottom of Strangford Lough today, such lush pastures - the Emerald Isle at its greenest. And the sun shone all day - I had to call into to M&S in Lisburn to buy some cotton trousers and a pair of shorts.. 
 
The best moment of the day - the call of a cuckoo. It's years since I heard that sound.
