An unusual day for me

My knee is recovering much more quickly than I thought possible yesterday.  I had my usual Tuesday morning session with my PT and he is so knowledgeable about injuries and the best way to get things moving again.

I had promised to accompany a friend for a day of "therapeutic shopping", so we met at Bicester Village.  For those of you who don't know it, it is a shopping precinct of designer outlet stores disguised as a chocolate box English village street.  It attracts lots of foreign and British visitors, and today it was packed (why is nobody at work?).

It's a real eye-opener for me.  I never go clothes shopping.  The sort of plain, classic, practical clothes that I wear can easily be bought online.  I cannot imagine how I could wear these brightly coloured and patterned, fashionable, totally impractical clothes, for sale at fancy prices!  But it's fun to wander around.  We both escaped without buying more than a coffee and a salad lunch.
