Pixie house

I had a stroll around Stornoway this afternoon with my colleague Jane; we were planning a route for a heritage photography treasure hunt with the young people so I got some photographs of the buildings and plaques with information we can use for clues.

I chose this one of Lews Castle as my blip though, as I love the wee pixie house carved into the tree trunk (which I was surprised to see is hollow but still has very healthy branches groing out of the shell - I didn't know that was possible!).
