Lundy island

If ever there was a perfect window of opportunity and weather to sail out to this beautiful island then this day was the day.
Good company and banter with a group alongside us who were staying in one of the cottages to celebrate a special birthday.
Croissants for breakfast, a visit to the church, a chat with the warden who was overseeing a bird ringing session (Chiff chaff in collage), puffins amongst many other birds all polished off with a light lunch in the tavern before sitting in the sun overlooking the landing bay.
Thankful for the beauty of this Earth, the wonders of nature, and the life that God has created.
