Zabulon Skipper

I've noticed over the years that butterflies are not attracted to roses. I guess roses don't provide the nectar that they like. This skipper is no exception. It was using this rose as a perch, visiting a nearby butterfly, getting its fill, and returning to the flower to rest before returning for more nectar.
