My, How You Have Grown!

I went to the woods this morning to see how the ‘monster mushrooms’ (Dryad’s Saddle) are coming on.

I blipped some of them a couple of weeks ago and they are now huge. The top disc/lobe is approx 15 inches / 40 cm across…and I suspect that it has not finished growing yet.

We are expecting a couple of feline visitors to be delivered later this afternoon - we’re cat sitting for the weekend while our son has a few days break in Prague!  All windows and doors will need to be kept closed to ensure they do not escape! We are gonna be warm!!!
