Sant Marti de la Roca

It was another warm and sunny day for walking. We drove down to the honeypot destination of Castelnou and walked up to the chapel, 11 kilometres and 46O metres of ascent. We passed through an area which had suffered an extensive forest fire. I think I remember it on the news last year. However, there were already signs of new growth. Nature has a great way of repairing itself it is amazing how quickly the trees regenerate. We were hoping for an ice cream on our return but we found it is too early in the season for most of the small boutiques to be open. I was back in time for my appointment at the physiotherapist. I don't feel my tendinitis between matches so there has been some improvement. I am following all the exercises given and I have bought elastic exercise straps so as to be able to do the prescribed routines at home.
