Looking Royal in Purple

Since we came home from Florida this year a little late, we missed all of the flowering trees in Kentucky.

So, I was pleased to see them in Michigan. The purples, the pinks, and the whites. While I'm always glad to see them as a sign of Spring, I don't think that I would like one in my yard. The color only lasts for a couple of weeks, and they are messy when they shed the flowers.

My son Jeff helped me jump Winnie (my Ford Tauras) who was dead in my garage. I put a trickle charger on her overnight, so I hope she is now up and running. I'm about to find out because I'm going to the store to get bread and parchment paper. I need the paper because when I return, I am going to make my first attempt at baking bread in a Dutch oven..
