Edwardian
We visited a friend in Crawley today. One always imagines Crawley to be modern as it was a “New Town” but this house is in a very elegant early Edwardian terrace . The plasterwork indoors is quite decorative and the fireplaces are most attractive.
We usually have no problem finding Christine’s house, but sat nav was on strike and we turned off the motorway too soon and got very confused around Gatwick Airport!
Christine was pleased to see us, and as she was navigating we had no problem finding a pub for lunch.
