Wednesday: Cordyline and Blue Sky
Early morning I noticed that the Cordyline has flower spikes and a few minutes earlier I’d seen that our house martins have returned. In previous years they’ve been nesting across the road from us - must remember to tell my neighbours who live there :-))
I had an appointment for another blood test late morning, popped into the Co-op for a few groceries and arrived home a few minutes before MrD who’s on deliveries today.
Mid afternoon I was watching the tide going out and was thrilled to see 3 house martins, possibly part of last year’s family.
It was very hot outside, temperature around 24°C at one stage! I spent the afternoon reading - https://www.waterstones.com/book/shadows-in-the-moonlight/santa-montefiore/9781398720022 - which is an unusual but captivating story which gets more mysterious with each chapter.
Watched “Phantom of the Open” on iPlayer -
