Not Today

The plan was to cut back ornamental grasses and remove limbs and branches from the lawn, but not today • Late last night MrsP got out of bed to go to the bathroom but took a wrong turn and fell. At 1am we were in the Emergency Room waiting to see a doctor • The CT scan revealed 2 broken ribs in her back, 5 ribs in the front, all on her right side. She also bruised her right clavicle and lung • The doctor commented many patients would be admitted to the hospital but she thought MrsP would do better at home. She’s taking Advil and Tylenol four times a day, has a sling for her arm and can wear pain relief patches as needed • We got home about 6am. The poor dear is in a lot of pain but I’m happy she’s been sleeping for most of the afternoon in a reclining chair • Possible frost tonight • It was nice of Mr Harry Woodpecker to stop by and say hello • Peace & Love
