A Postcard from Hindringham Hall

Another gloriously sunny and hot day, it's still 18C at 9pm! This morning I went for my first trip of the year to Hindringham Hall under my HIstoric Houses membership. It's only about 7 miles away, we're lucky to have several HH properties in the area. Photography was quite challenging as it was so bright. The mediaeval fishponds were at the lowest level I've ever seen them - only 14mm of rain in April which is around what we had last month too. Not many insects around strangely. After sitting out for an hour or so this afternoon, I then went to a talk by M about the musical influence of birds - an excellent talk as always with some very interesting pieces of music. It was to raise money for a local charity called The Healing Harbour. They bring people together as a compassionate community to support the well-being of each other and people (and their families, friends, and carers) living in North Norfolk with deteriorating health conditions, through times of 'health crises' to end of life and beyond.

Sorry for not thanking you all individually for hearts given recently, I've been extremely busy and keep running out of time. But be assured, that they are very much appreciated.
