Printed MWIS detailed forecast for Sunday 27th April stated 'How wet? Rain much of the day, almost incessant near Skye. Periods of rain, on or near Skye rarely ceasing with burns rising'.

Cloud base around Glen Brittle not much above 250m, so this was the closest I came to seeing any of the Cuillins towering peaks.
