Blue and green

A month ago this would have been dark green Douglas Fir.
It was hot today - 24C I think, which if hotter than most days in the summer, and still nearly that when we went running. I'd already decided on a 5k run and most of the group joined me, only 3 opting for 5miles.
We're away camping and running for the weekend and I got most things packed this morning, giving me time to remember the things I've left out. Some housework got done and I also made the most of the weather and got some fleeces washed.
Early afternoon we collected compost from where the Council make it from our garden rubbish. You have to fill your own bags and it's gone up a lot this year, but still a lot cheaper than commercial compost. Being nice and dry we got more for our money!
Back home most bags were emptied into pots and then I watered all the young plants and the various pots and needed a rest after that before the run.
