Holy Trinity Church…

… as seen on our river trip today. We later visited and went inside the church. It was a wonderful trip, so quiet, so beautiful today. Lots of the last days can only be described this way!

The theatre tour was very interesting and the passion of our guide very infectious. He had acted in and produced plays and is now a writer. To hear the history of both The Swan and Royal Shakespeare Theatre, where one has been rebuilt inside the other, keeping many of the original period features was fascinating. I love that sort of thing.

We’re now back home. This morning we seriously thought about extending our stay. We’ll be back though. The weather has played a big part in making it such a great few days but there is always more to see and do in the town and we’re really grateful.
