The inspection this morning took all of five minutes, as they checked the smoke alarms and checked there were no leaks under the sinks.  Not at all what I expected, so it was a relief.  I got done in time to head over and renew my car tabs, and there wasn't too much of a line.

Next stop was to be Safeway, but as I drove there I realized that I was in Lex's neighborhood, so I called to see if it would be good for me to visit.
She's doing well after the surgery - when I got there she and Doug had just had a walk in the driveway.  Pain pills help as well.  I spent about an hour with her and photographed the rhododendron in her garden.  Then I  took myself to Safeway, where for once I got both a disabled parking space and a grocery cart.  And I spent my April Fresh Bucks.

Back to dialysis tomorrow, but there's nothing on the calendar for Friday!
