GOODBYE APRIL!

It was a dreary day, but Angus & I went to the park, which he likes. There is a
wonderful veterans’ memorial, with a large fountain. The city periodically has
services here, to celebrate the local military
personal. We walk around it & watch the ducks, admire the flowering trees.

The nearby pickleball courts were full of activity; & the bocce ball courts had many people playing. I watched, but am not sure
what the rules are.

We will probably be walking there every
day, because both a Bobcat &
a Mountain Lion have been seen,
by several people, in our neighborhood.
I live in the foothills of the Santa Susana Mountains, which has lots of open space.
It’s not a surprise these predators are
nearby, & visiting.

I will feel safer, in the park, which is
is in the middle of town. Safety first!
