1st May, how on earth did that happen ?
Following on from the weather report yesterday (28mm), in the 24 hours up to 5pm today we have had another 46mm.  It has stopped now thankfully.  Snow upcountry, quite a lot lying around Lake Tekapo area, and it is decidedly colder today. The local rivers are in flood, winter it seems has arrived.
Quite sensibly another day indoors....making leek and potato soup, doing a difficult jigsaw and generally being lazy.
