Uluwatu Temple

Martin felt well enough to venture further away today.

So we headed out to Uluwatu, to the east of Nusa Dua. They have very cheeky monkeys at this temple, they steal tourists hats, sunglasses and jewellery apparently!

Anyway we were blown away by the blue of the sea (Indian Ocean). I have NEVER seen such blue water in my entire life … and I’ve been a few places!!! This picture doesn’t do it justice at all, it was just amazing.

The monkeys seemed quite lethargic, probably because of the time of day we were there. I was pleased we got to see them. The last extra shows a monkey playing with a cap he’d scored!

We asked our driver to take us to a place that a tourist had recommended and we were so disappointed with it! We also spent 3 hrs in traffic!!! It takes forever to get around Bali.
