Winding River

What a glorious morning! There were clear skies in the main except for some low-lying mist shrouding the lower slope of the Richmond Range to the north of Blenheim.
The Omaka Ford is still covered with water. The damage has not been too bad this time and would be passable in a vehicle or on foot wearing suitable footwear.
However the dogs and I followed the tracks on the true right bank of the river. This made for a nice change of scenery. This view looks down-stream towards Mount Robertson in the Richmond Range in the distance. The river is running a bit of a fresh but is clearing nicely. It sparkles in the still low sunlight.
